When you email us, include the phone number or email address you sign in with and, if you can, a screenshot. It helps us find your account and fix things faster. We never ask for your sign in code.
Common questions
My sign in code is not arriving
- Check that you entered your phone number with the right country code, or your email address without typos.
- Codes can take up to a minute. Wait, then tap to resend. Only the newest code works.
- For SMS codes, make sure you have signal and that your carrier allows texts from short codes and toll free numbers.
- For email codes, check your spam, junk and promotions folders.
- Still stuck? Try the other sign in method, or email us and we will look into it.
How do I delete my account?
In the App, go to Profile > Settings & Account > Delete Account and confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you cannot open the App, email us. Full details are on the Delete account page.
How do I block or report someone?
Open the person's profile in Dream Screen and choose Block or Report. Blocking stops them from interacting with you in the App. Reports go to our team for review, and we act on accounts that break our Terms of Service. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services first, then email us.
How does contacts matching work?
Contacts matching is optional. If you turn it on, your iPhone turns each phone number in your contacts into a one way SHA-256 hash before anything leaves your device. Only those hashes are sent to us and compared with the hashed numbers of people already on Dream Screen, so we can show you which friends are here. We never receive your contacts' names or readable phone numbers, and we never message them. You can turn contacts access off anytime in your iPhone Settings. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
Why does Dream Screen ask for my camera or microphone?
Only for the features that need them: the camera to recognize a poster or a title on a screen, and the microphone for voice search. Both are optional and you can change them in your iPhone Settings.
