Delete your account
Delete it in the App
- Open Dream Screen and sign in.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Settings & Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Cannot open the App? Ask us by email
Email support@thebosslife.com with the subject "Delete my account" and include the phone number or email address you sign in with. To protect you, we will confirm the request came from the account owner, for example by asking you to reply from that email address or by sending a code to that phone number. We then delete the account within 30 days, and usually within one business day, and email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account is permanently removed from our database:
- your profile: name, username, bio and profile photo;
- your phone number or email address used to sign in;
- your swipes, liked lists, watched list and ratings, and your Taste DNA;
- your friends, shared recommendations and watch together picks;
- your AI chat history and any contact hashes from contacts matching.
Deletion cannot be undone. If you sign up again later with the same phone number, you start with a brand new, empty account.
Timing and what may remain
In app deletion happens immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days. A small amount of information may remain for a limited time where we need it for security or legal reasons: server logs are kept for no more than 90 days, and we may keep records of reports about serious abuse or of a legal request if the law requires it. Messages you sent to our support team stay in our support inbox. Sign in codes that Twilio or Resend delivered may stay in those providers' logs under their own retention rules.
